Malayan Night Heron - Da'an Park Tapei
A short cut across Da'an Park in Tapei at mid-day on Monday and I suddenly came across this

An adult Malayan Night Heron, motionless for quite long periods, unaffected by passers-by.
No binoculars, no camera so I had to take these with my mobile.
