Velvet-fronted nuthatch the runner
A velvet-fronted nuthatch emerged from behind a tree trunk in Taipokou on January 19th. It picked up its tarsus ran up to the canopy and down again several times. The bird ran at such a speed that no sluggish crawled worms could escape.
