Winter gei wai drain down 2015-2016 冬季基圍乾塘
Over the coming months, WWF will drain down the [i]gei wai[/i] inside the Mai Po Nature Reserve on rotation basis. This is done to benefit waterbirds in Deep Bay whom congregate at the [i]gei wai[/i] as the water-level is gradually lowered. Proposed drain down dates are:
25-31 Oct (GW#22)
9-15 Nov (GW#11)
24-30 Nov (GW#12)
8-17 Dec (GW#14)
23-29 Dec (GW#19)
5-14 Jan (GW#13)
15-21 Jan (GW#7)
25-30 Jan (Pond#16b)
1-5 Feb (Pond#16a)
11-20 Feb (GW#18)
29Feb - 6Mar (GW#10)
