Great find and beautifully captured, Matt!
NB Images are well post processed too assuming you shoot RAW.

Thanks KK, yes I only shoot with RAW nowadays, gives much more flexibility for editing. Also, much better noise control, which is handy as I uses ISO800 or higher quite a lot when shooting in forests. Of course, I would think a higher grade camera will deliver better results with less noise but I have been quite happy with the overall results of 7DII so far.

Way to go, Matt!
The 7D2 is not bad. You're moving in the right direction, I think!
Actually EOS 80D features a sensor with greatly improved Raw dynamic range. Canon has moved to a new sensor design with lower read noise. The sensors in the EOS 80D and EOS-1D X Mark II appear to have an on-chip ADC design that conducts the conversion within the sensor, shortening the electronic path and preventing this noise building up. It isn't quite a match for my Nikon D7200 yet according to reviews I read ...
