Though the whole number is not shown in the photo, there is a high chance that you saw a Long-tailed Shrike with a ring (CA00035)
Regarding the CA00035 ring, it was introduced to the Shrike on 12 Sep 2015.

Thanks, Shing. It's great to be able to learn more about the birds I sighted. This long-tailed shrike looks fit as a fiddle. I wonder how old it is?

During the time when we introduced the ring, it was an adult already, so I cannot tell the exact year old of the bird, however we can sure the bird is at least 3 years old.
