Blue Whistling Thrush & Snake - Lamma

Quite surprised to see this BLUE WHISTLING THRUSH visit the pond intermittently over the course of an hour with the tail of a snake hanging from its beak.. apparently are known to eat mice & small birds as well...

You may well be right... read the description on it having a white underbelly, which shows up clearly in other photos... shall change thread title

Thanks David... but not hard when it wanders around in front of me for an hour or so... returned an hour later, & whilst I have 2 BWT at the pond daily, think I saw the same bird fleetingly with an empty beak (slightly different gait)... it seemed in a little distress earlier, but there was no way I could help it out

Both BWT came in at the same time today.... both were snakeless.... so assume all is good
