Details of the Shek Kong Catchment Outing to be held on 25 Jan 2009 as below:-
Date: 25/1/2009 Sunday
Gathering place: 08:00 Exit C, Kam Sheung Road West Rail Station
[color=Red]Time: 8:00 - 12:00[/color]
Leaders: Dr. Cheng Ho Fai
Target Species: Wintering forest birds & farmland birds
Free of Charge for all members.
HK$30 for non-member.

今次石崗引水道觀鳥活動，是觀鳥會鼠年歲晚收壚最後一次活動，非常成功，感到每位参加的朋友，開開心心的看到一隻又一隻心儀的雀仔，散隊時都帶著開心的笑容離開。雖然當日難得一見的錫咀雀不是由我們的團友找到，而是由當時在附近的鳥類拍友通風報訊得來的，深深感受到我們觀鳥人仕都是一家人，無私地有好鳥便一同觀賞的精神，在此順便多謝阿良一聲。

Sorry that the outing bird list come so late. My species count is 48, and that is truely amasing for such a small place. Also, most species were seen well, including the star of the day, the Hawfinch. I want to thank Alan Chan, Mr. Luk, small Peter, Chunfai, Yiu-leung, PWMK, Dr. Yau, and many others for help.
