10/5/2009 Ho Chung Outing Report
今日大約有20人參加是次活動，今日天氣良好，多雲間中有陽光，總共有43種雀鳥！今日最特別是 三寶鳥 Dollarbird (大家都睇到！) 其次係河邊的兩種逸鳥，家鴨?和綠頭鴨。今日係母親節，本人未能帶足全程(中午要陪家人午飯)，在此抱歉！另外感謝駱生幫手帶隊！

This is a muscovy duck - a very common captive duck (the wild species occurs in South America). Do you have pictures of the mallard to confirm if this is also a captive bird?

i think the famous mallard of Ho Chung living there long ago.

Just before we left, there were two Chinese Pond Herons that so close to us. One with red legs and other with white legs. One of them was just several meters below me. See the photo below (500mm and no crop!).
