Yellow-browed Buntings at Kam Tin

Yesterday John Alcock had 9 Chestnut-eared Buntings and 2 Yellow-browed Buntings.

this morning Richard Lewthwaite and I found the 2 Yellow-browed Buntings again, plus Yellow-breasted, Little and Black-faced Bunting.

Other good birds included:

[b]Japanese Quail [/b]- 1
[b]Grey-headed Lapwing[/b] - 2
[b]Wryneck[/b] - 1
[b]Daurian Redstart[/b] - 2
[b]Rubythroat [/b]- 2h
[b]Black-browed Reed Warbler[/b] - 1
[b]Red-throated Flycatcher [/b]- 2 h

A little later on there were over 100 [b]Black-faced Spoonbills[/b] on the mud at Nam Sang Wai, and inside the fishponds I had very good views of a [b]Radde's Warbler[/b]. I also heard 3 more [b]Rubythroat[/b] (I saw one male) and two more [b]Black-browed Reed Warbler[/b].

The number of buntings I am credited with is not correct - I think Richard may have misheard when I phoned Birdline!
There were 4 Yellow-browed and 1 Chestnut-eared on Friday. 2 Yellow-browed were present this morning.
Also Yellow-legged Buttonquail, Lanceolated Warbler and Common Starling this morning. There were 24 Grey-headed Lapwings in the river a couple of days ago.
