This is a Marsh Sandpiper.

The mantle feathers have many black bars, while the Common Greenshank has more plain feathers in non breeding period, or dark on centre of feathers in breeding plumage.

Hi Jimmy,

We did not do any wader ringing in last autumn (till now!). Also, we just use the same colour flags in last few years. Therefore, we cannot know the years when the birds were ringed.
