Great series !
Thank you for your compliments, John Yu.
I have to thank another birder who gave me his corner seat in the bird hide.  Otherwise I could not have the chance to take photos of so many birds, particularly the Black-naped Oriole. (I also visited Mai Po on 19 Sept afternoon and heard about the Black-naped Oriole and had waited at the corner seat for the whole afternoon without luck and so I went back again on 20 Sept early morning but there were already three birders in the bird hide and I was a bit sad that I missed the chance again, until the birder gave me his seat as he wanted to visit other bird hides)
The birder told me that he saw the Oriole before 7am that morning but did not care to take photos as it was common bird elsewhere and he had taken too many Oriole photos already.  I think this is just like Red-necked Stint and Little Stint.  In HK we have plenty of Red-necked and we try hard to look for Little Stint whereas in other parts of the world, it is the opposite.

Thank you for your compliments, John.  I was amazed that one fruit tree could attract so many species of birds.

Thank you for your advice, John Yu.  Yes, I also thought it might be an Oriental Reed Warbler.  But then some bird guide books and wikipedia say that Oriental Reed Warbler has white underpart which appears to be missing for this bird?

Extract from Wikipedia: "..... The plumage is brown above with a paler rump and whitish tips to the tail feathers. The underparts are whitish below, browner on the flanks and undertail-coverts. There are narrow greyish streaks on the throat and breast. ....."

Nevertheless, there are other birders who share our view that this is Oriental Reed Warbler.  Hence ORW it is.
