Rewrite Their Future

Rewrite Their Future
There is a widespread misconception that elephant tusks fall out and grow back like human babies milk teeth because the Chinese character for ivory literally means elephant teeth.

But the truth is poachers have to kill the elephant to extract their much coveted tusks. The ivory trade drove the massacre of more than 30,000 African elephants every year.

WWF-Hong Kong recently launched the Rewrite Their Future campaign to debunk the myth and call an end to the brutality since Hong Kong is the worlds largest ivory retail market.

Change the fate of elephants by clicking https://rewritetheirfuture.wwf.org.hk/ and:

1.     Sign the petition to urge the Hong Kong government to ban ivory trade.

2.     Re-design the Chinese character for ivory to dispel misconceptions forever.
