The banded ring on this bird was not very clear, guessed it is C1.

Whimbrel AA has not been seen since Sep-2020, nice found.
It was flagged in Oct-2018 and seen at Tsim Bei Tsui in Mar-19 and Mai Po in Sep-2020.

C1 is a Eurasian Curlew, fitted with satellite transmitter under WWF's Wetland Incubator Project.
It was ringed in Jan-2022. It stayed at Mai Po until migrating north in early Mar-2022.
It stopped over in Dalian, Liaoning during both northward and southward migration.
It bred in Russia just north of Mongolia and return to Mai Po in early January this year.

Eurasian Curlew C1 was spotted again in Pond #16/17 on 16/02/2023.
