It seems an influx of this rare species has reached NW fishponds area.
I've heard at least two records in these two days.
Birdwatcher be sensitive to the distinctive "meow-meow" call when walking around fishponds!

Are you sure it's a Bright-capped Cisticola Gary?

Yellow-bellied Prinia also has a cat-like 'meow-meow' sound and is a wetland species.

Bright-capped Cisticola has a more nasal sound, and is a dry grassland species.

Yes, sure Bright-capped Cisticola.
I'm just too clumsy to describe sound in English word.
