A fish hook victim discovered this morning hanging from a tree at Mai Po near the Education Centre. The Cormorant is now with KFBG, hope it can be treated and released back to the wild.

I also saw a fish hook victim today - a Great Egret on a fishpond. Unfortunately by the time I returned to collect the bird it had gone - presumably either killed by the fishpond owner or released with the hook still attached.
I hope the cormorant has more luck and can survive
