I assume it is one of the flagged birds I saw on 2 July. Please note some details below:
"A total of 2 Roseate Terns were sighted by Yu Yat Tung at: Eastern HK waters, Hong Kong (China) on 2/07/2010 with flag(s) as follows:
LEFT leg: nothing/unknown on tibia (upper leg) above metal band on tarsus
RIGHT leg: nothing/unknown on tibia (upper leg) above white flag on tarsus
These birds were flagged at Swain Reefs, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, approximate co-ordinates 21deg 50min S, 152deg 0min E, which uses the flag combination White, as an adult in Jan or Feb since 2002.
The resighting was a distance of approximately 6391 km, with a bearing of 318 degrees, from the marking location."
