9th Sept 2010, Victoria Park

There now appears to be only one Hoopoe at Victoria Park. I have seen the same bird several times this week. Could somebody help ID the insect that it caught. The Hoopoe got the insect about 4" underground

Thanks

Bob

I believe it is some sort of Mole cricket, but i am not sure what species is it. Probably Gryllotalpa orientalis.
