極度瀕危的勺嘴鷸，全球數量不足1000隻。
這隻可憐的雄鳥，雖然換上了一身漂亮的繁殖羽，
努力地不斷發出求偶的歌聲，
可是卻連一隻雌鳥也遇不到。

Sometimes I just wonder: do we humans still deserve to live on this planet?

It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant some of us can be in relation to the environmental consequences (and hence the suffering we imposed on other animals) of our actions.
