「觀鳥節2010」的首個活動是一連兩日的「鳥類與濕地」嘉年華。該活動邀請了本地的綠色團體、學校、社區服務團體、本港及國內的觀鳥組織、以及香港濕地公園的合作伙伴共同參與，設立攤位展覽和遊戲。有關活動詳情如下：

日期 ：  2010年11月6及7日（星期六及星期日)
時間 ：  上午10時至下午5時
地點 ：  香港濕地公園 入口廣場

The first activity of the "Bird Watching Festival 2010" will be a two-day "’Birds and Wetlands’ Funfair. Hong Kong Wetland Park (HKWP) will invite local green groups, schools, community organisations, bird watching societies of Hong Kong and Mainland China, and partners of HKWP to arrange booth exhibitions and games. Details of the activity are as follows:
