I have been getting a lot of private messages recently about Po Shan Road asking where it is and where to go. I thought I would put together this map of the birding area and where I have seen interesting birds.
I started going to Po Shan Road in October 2009 so I have only been covering this area for about 1 year. In 2009 I was not covering the area as carefully as this year. All the birds recorded on the map except for an exceptionally late Asian Brown Flycatcher (12 June) were recorded in Fall or Winter. Despite all the good birds listed on the map a lot of days are very boring there--it's like any fallout area.
I am also keeping a list of this small area so please do post sightings. There are some rather common species that I haven't seen here.

Thank you. I know the area fairly well after living in the area for many years. Now I am looking for birders to create another club. This one is for Mount Davis Path - Kennedy Town. If group/you are going birding on Po Shan please let me know, as I'd like to join.
