I witnessed this Juvenile catch turtle in the first photo, however, I am not convinced that he caught the Japanese White Eye in the second .. from observing his hunting skills on the turtle, i doubt he has yet the capacity nor speed to catch a Japanese White Eye, and his mother was certainly no where to be seen or heard when he popped back from the bushes with this very badly beaten corpse of Japanese White Eye, all within a few seconds.

I have seen photos posted by others there on the day and can confirm that the japanese white eye was in fact passed onto the juvenile by the adult, however, still cannot confirm the kill ... Photos of the series can be found at the link in my sig below... Sted by Mr D W Long..
