This bird was first seen in very poor light last night in our Sai Kung garden. It stuck closely to the Jasmine covering a wall. It was too dark to photograph. I got up at dawn to see if it was still around. It appeared and again stayed close to the wall. It flew briefly onto the Lantana and I managed a few blurred frames through the window at some distance. This is a crop from a 400mm lens on a FF camera. I think it is Japanese Bush Warbler which would be a garden tick for me :-)  (But ID corrected - see below).

Manchurian for me based on greyish nape, poorly marked head pattern, and rather pale overall plumage.

Thanks Paul. Still happy as a garden tick!
