An Indian blue peacock lifted his beak to call out 'ark-ark-ark' quivered his rump swiftly then erected his elongated tail covert feathers displaying the distinguished eye-spotted pattern.  A white peacock could not stand for being out-competed and fanned out his train of feathers immediately.  However, his paler appearance received little attention from the other sex.

The performance was staged at the Peacock Garden Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Reserve at Taichung Taiwan in the evening of April 18th.
