Nanling National Forest Park, N. Guangdong
No. of bird species seen was less than expected; only one raptor was seen in our 4-day stay with fine weather. Probably many birds could not survive during last Oct.'s continuous heavy rain !

It probably took a poisonous worm that made it stand still for a long time !

You saw more birds than us although it was just next district to where you stayed. We were in Mang Shan National Forest Park.

Initially we have scheduled an one-day visit to Mang Shan NFP from Nanling; eventually we gave it up due to the on-going re-surfacing work of the road.
Meanwhile, we did take a walk along a section of the access road leading to Mang Shan & saw a few birds only.
