Just found two Little Grebes nesting outside the 3-storey bird hide in Mai Po this afternoon. Everyone observing from the hide could see them just at the left of the hide. There were at least two eggs in the nest. The parents were busy in building a better nest by plant leaves under water. The nest is very close to the hide. So please keep quiet when observing them. The other two photos showed a Little Grebe (could be one of the parents of the eggs) nearby. The water was so clear that the legs could be seen underwater.
