I like the warm tone and harmony colour in this shot---thanks to the late afternoon lighting.
The metal perch is certainly a regret for naturalist. :cry:

Nice shot Wing, I agree about the metal railing but it may have helped a little by throwing a little kick light on the right hand side of the bird

I agree, from pictorial point of view the soft and subtle kick light on the right hand side makes the whole picture better balance.
