May I know what's meant by WRS? Is there information about it?

WRS is meant to a unique code for identifying each individual from bird ringing activities. It is also meant to be clearly seen by birdwatchers. Any resightings like this are very much welcome. Orange and yellow flags are the colour combination used by researchers marking the birds from South Australia.

Thank you for your explanation, Tung. It is interesting to know the turnstone was once seen in South Australia (#32). The PDF at https://www.wetlands.org/publica ... ustralasian-flyway/ is helpful to understand the bird life.
