This is very possibly E34, which is often seen wintering in Mai Po or fishponds nearby.

I saw E34 last year but the ring color condition was still good. Hope that someone will meet this individual soon to compare the latest ring colour and flag to verify.

Just check my record, I met E34 in 1-Nov-2022 which was just 2 months ago. It look that it is not likely color change in short period.

I saw E34 yesterday at Santin.
The colour ring did get dirty recently.

So I think you bird is also very possibly E34.
