Common Redshanks:
BC - ringed 20-Sep-20 as 1st winter bird; 23 sightings, all from Mai Po; last record in Nov-23; 1st report of this season.
CF - ringed 23-Dec-2021 as 1st winter bird; 18 sightings, all from Mai Po; last record in Aug-2024. It is also carrying a GPS tracker. In 2023 and 2024 summer, it was breeding in Inner Mongolia, near the border of Mongolia in the east. The tracker is still functioning as of now.
LY - recently ringed on 3-Jan-25 as adult; this is the 2nd sighting.
NT - ringed 29-Apr-22 as adult; 11 sightings from Mai Po and Shenzhen Futian; last seen 22-Jan-25.
PJ - ringed 2-Sep-22 as 1st winter bird; 10 sightings from Mai Po and Shenzhen Futian; you saw this bird in Mar-24; last seen 9-Jan-25.
Dunlin VP - recently ring on 3-Jan-25 as 1st winter bird; 1st sighting.
