I arrived home from a very good Xmas lunch at the HK Club to find a flock of 16 Kites wheeling over the house. Just off to the right a Peregrine falcon was cruising around upsetting the local passerine population. Just to put the marzipan on the xmas cake a Common buzzrd was hovering over the bay and fending off occasional attacks by 2 of the kites. Definitely a good raptor afternoon in Clearwater Bay.
