"A decisive moment ..."

This is what that first came to my mind when watching this prime shot. You really had captured the most decisive moment in this pintail's close-to-the-water gliding action, I think.
The size of the pintail is about right in the presence of the clear reflection from the water. The space to the right allows for the continuation of the graceful gliding action, strengthening the momentum of the pintail's flight. A sense of dashing-into was felt as I was viewing such a wonderful shot. Really top-notch in the skill of framing and panning.
What is more are the serenity and perfection in exposure in this shot ... and the glare that was captured in the pintail's eye.
What a pleasant viewing!

A fantastic shot, kk! Timing & lighting are perfect. Really love that tail! A minor pity is that he has slightly passed you I think. Personally I would remove some of the distractions on the water.
