以為佢會走左，點知仲係度，而且仲有追船！
17Aug2008搭0830馬料水往黃石既船，
去程得6隻追船，仲要係唔係好追既狀態！
而且海上航道繁忙有好多船，d燕鷗好似食緊自助餐咁，
追追下呢隻船，又走去追下另外d船！

回程1200左右由深涌一開船就有廿幾隻追船，
仲一直追到返馬料水碼頭，係真係去到碼頭，
直到架船停先肯走，真係未見過！
加埋上幾次既經驗，唔知點解，似乎下午既船較受燕鷗歡迎！

留意下d相既背景！絕對係馬鞍山既公屋景呢架！

Same experience on 16 Aug. I was all alone on the Ferry from Tap Mun on 13:45 (I pay $25 to get the whole ferry for my own use). At Plover Cove concrete island, Terns follow my Ferry for at least 20 minutes. Very exciting and I got many photos. I am sure some of you would enjoy my highly artistic and creative blur photos (wrongly focussed on the background all the time).

Probably terns can find plenty of food here....

I think there are many small fishes they like in Tolo Channel, and I saw almost all of them can catch a fish when they chase the ferry today! And I saw one JV of Black-naped Tern chase the ferry today!

21/08/2008 吐露港 Tolo Channel

今日仲見到佢地追船！
不過淨係係烏溪沙附近追!
3pm: 30+
6pm: 少過20（大約得12-14左右！）

有一隻黑枕幼鳥追船, 3同6pm都有追!
飛得好快! 不過捉魚技巧同飛行持久力都不及成鳥!

I was watching the news for the Typhoon this afternoon, while the reporter was standing next to Sai Kung Pier I saw a few terns flying about in the harbour!! I guess you can call this "birdwatching"...

Hhahaha! Birdwatching on TV? So can you identify which terns they are? I guess is Black-naped!

今日出咗去吹海風.....

Today I took a "boat trip" to see the terns again....
燕鷗? 有就有.... 望遠鏡都望唔到粒塵o既距離囉.....

Terns? Yes, here they were. Just too far away to see them in binoculars.....

Tolo Harbour 吐露港

追船? 都有o既, 要夠近先會追囉, 去塔門隻船同佢離咁遠, 邊會追丫....

Chasing boats? Yes, they still would, but they just follow nearby boats and not the one as far away as the one I was taking....

過咗塔門之後太陽被遮住, iso 開到 640 快門都係唔夠....
After passed Tap Mun, the sun was blocked by clouds and the shutter speed dropped a lot.

之後, 隻船係回程途中, 希望再度燃起....

Later, during the return trip, a hope rose up....

不明幼鳥
Unknown juvenile tern.

現場好似有三隻....
Seems there were 3 of them.

唔覺嘴同腳都係帶紅色, 唔通係普通燕鷗...?
Their beaks and legs are not red in color, are they Common Terns...?

結果, 今日全程剩係食風, 同埋啲 100% 都唔係點認到係乜o既 records....
In conclusion, I just got few unidentifiable records today....

(其實全部都已經係 1:1 crop....)

今日都係無燕鷗追船!

今日燈塔267及馬料水附近水域都應該無晒燕鷗啦!

燈塔119有一隻黑枕，4:00pm同5:45pm都見到佢企係舊石度!

o個3隻unknown燕鷗依然係黃泡SW8及附近魚排活動!
