Fei,
The killer is a cat.
The Greater Painted Snipe is so unlucky
but it's  a part of the nature.

It may not have been a cat as I saw the remains of the bird at 7am on Sunday and they looked rather fresh. The only animal I saw was a medium size black dog but it didn't seem interested in the remains as it walked straight past them unless it was already full.

猛禽通常會好努力去毛. 所以見開比猛禽殺死雀鳥現場都係滿地毛遍佈四周. 但果日就唔覺. 淨係得對翼..

ckacheung當日看見有隻貓"擔"住隻彩鷸
如果被猛禽吃掉的話，通常地面只會留低一大堆羽毛，很少會是剩下雙翼的 (看來貓不喜歡吃雞翼和鳯爪 )
所以兇手是貓應該沒有錯的.


ckacheung saw a cat holding the painted snipe in its mouth that morning.
if it is eaten by a raptor, usually only feathers left on the ground instead of a pair of wings (seems cat doesn't like wings and feet)
so the killer should be a cat.
