The recent occurrences of H5N1 in HK confirmed one point that we has been talking about for several years. That is:
Wild birds are victim. They get H5N1 from dead poultry left in open areas.
We now have one definite example that wild bird with H5N1 is transmitted from poultry. If dead poultry with H5N1 is left in wetland such as coastal area, then the major victim is the Ardieds (Egret and Heron), Falcons, and the Crows.
