早上經過元朗市區發現一個雨燕巢掉了下來，
大概因為這幾天潮濕，連批擋一起掉下來
幸好沒有幼鳥在巢

嘩! 慘啦! 成個巢跌左落黎! 咁佢地今晚返到黎, 咪無左個巢用黎休息? 咪要成晚掛係牆度?

不過, 唔係你影左相都唔知, 原來佢地d巢內都唔一定貫通晒,都會分一格格!

26/4開始看到牠們在複修燕巢
27/4有一隻小白腰雨燕可以在巢邊休息了

Hi Sze, on 30May(Sat), I went to Mui Wo for birdwatching and found out that there are many nests made by barn swallows too. There are at least 10 nests around Mui Wo centre (the 4 buildings around 銀運路, there is a Wellcome). From my rough estimation, 7 out of 10 nests were occupied but so far I didn't see any chicks. Has HKBWS had some records for those nests already?

Thanks for your information!
One of the Swallow & Swift Team Volunteer will do the nests count in Mui Wo.
But it is better that if you can send the details of the nests location ( include the street name and door number ) and other information (eg: active / inactive / damaged nest? how many bird baby in the nest?) to me by PM, I can do the cross-check for the suvery data!

不過攪左成兩個月都只係起到咁細個巢!
小白腰雨燕似乎要在空中取材築巢的難度比家燕取泥築巢要大很多!
