Bird Race 2011 Team Forming

The Hong Kong Bird Race 2011 would be held on 9-10 April 2011. We are happy to announce that many teams have entered the race and we would like to thank you for your support.

We learnt that some friends are not able to form/join teams. We are happy to assist in forming teams, please kindly e-mail your name, phone number, email address and membership number to hkbws@ hkbws.org.hk with title "Bird Race 2011 Team Forming" (Please DO NOT post any personal details in the forum). The HKBWS would try our best to arrange but we cannot guarantee successful team-forming.

We strongly suggest bird-watchers with less experience join the outings in early April, including Long Valley, Tai Po Kau and Mai Po to familiarize with birds occurring during the period. You may also make friends with other birders and discuss the route of the race. Details are as follows:

Long Valley Outing (no registration needed)
Date: 2 April 2011 (Sat)
Time: 14:30

I need some more people on my team (the "Waterbird" team), priority given to waterbird class participants.
