Oriental Stork!!!!東方白鸛

Mai Po Nature Reserve #16/17
12/7/2012 9:00 - 9:10

It was first seen by Mai Po field staff in the morning and then we went up to the scrape to see it. It stayed for around 10 mins and then flew up to the sky toward Shenzhen side. It's a strange record in this time of year but shows no signs of feather damage.

The stork is still present at Mai Po this morning, currently at the south end of the reserve
