Recent photos of this King's Park bird - including the excellent ones here - show a uniformly bright blue crown, a bright blue shoulder patch and uniformly orange underparts from breast to undertail coverts.

Given these features, and contrary to an earlier posting I made, I'm wondering if this is, in fact, Rufous-bellied Niltava (as some observers initially suggested) and not Fujian Niltave.

I have go through "A Field Guide to the Birds of China" and "Wild Bird of Taiwan" (Land Birds). Although not conclusive (I am not an experienced birder), I would support that it is a Rofous-bellied Niltava (Niltava sundara). Not only it fits the descriptions of Divid but I find one more piece of information in the field guide that Niltava sundara has grey legs. That fits what I had recorded in my photos (not yet ready to post up!). Fujian Niltava should have black legs.

Totally greed with David and passerby-b, it is a Rofous-bellied Niltava and many thanks for your clarification.
