2013 - 3 - 25
Afternoon Walk

Black-throated Laughingthrush 2
Fork-tailed Sunbird 2 (1M & 1F)

Is this the right format for the system to automatically note down the record ?

There is a fruiting Banyan tree right outside to SU canteen. So many birds there !
No flycatchers were seen today though I visited the same location at the same time as yesterday.

Black-crowned Night Heron 1

In the middle of the lily pond of the HKU campus. In fact it has been present for more than one week. Personally it is an interesting record as I had never seen this species in the campus. It is a tame bird. Many express interest when they see such a creature in the campus !

Is this raptor a Crested Goshawk ?

This is a flycatcher for sure, but is it a Grey-streaked or Dark-sided ?

There are plenty of this plant on Lung Fu Shan, does anyone know what they are ? They attract birds !
