Just returned from a 2-week migrating raptors watching trip ranging from Lushun at the north to Beihai at the south. Actually 3 sites were visited :
- Laotieshan at Lushun 旅順老鐵山
- Baiwangshan at Beijing 北京百望山
- Guantouling at Beihai 北海冠頭嶺
In this trip, I was most impressed by a flock of Eastern Marsh Harrier 白腹鷂(7 nos) flying towards our position at Baiwangshan while we prepared to leave in the late afternoon. This flock of EMH consisted of male, female & juvenile.
