Bats and birds trapped at Ho Chung, Sai Kung 蠔涌又有大屠殺

Countless mist nets were seen at Ho Chung on 31 January 2008. Several dead bats were seen. One Red-whiskered Bulbul was trapped and displayed in the fields for fearing other birds not to destroy their crops.

As a lot of wildlife were got killed by mist nets, the nets are more than for crop protection. Has reported to AFCD.

Pls let AFCD know (govt hotline 1823) if more are seen.
