Flock of 22 Schrenck's Bittern - 21 May

A flock of 22 Schrenck's Bitterns passed my seawatching station on Po Toi at 6.30am on Wednesday 21st May.

Here is a photo of 15 of the birds, together with a close-up of the middle group of 7. A mixed group of males and females.
