During December, 20 Northern Pintail and 4 Eurasian Wigeon were fitted with satellite transmitters at Mai Po, to monitor duck movements along the flyway. This female wigeon is one of these birds.

Further information about this project will be released to the press in due course, after the current holiday period. In the meantime, the movements of these birds can be tracked through the following link:
