Please help me ID this bird seen preening in a tree at Long Valley Nov 9th. A large bird (slightly larger than the Long-tailed Shrike obligingly perched next to it) with a brown head and mantle, greyish underparts, conspicuous white wing patches, pale rump, dark wings and a fairly long dark tail. Sorry if it should be blindingly obvious, I'm not very familiar with H.K. birds. Thanks.

That looks like it. I guess I was mistaken about the colour of the head. Thanks a lot.
