Wagtails here all year?

Are wagtails here all year round, or do they go north to breed? I ask because I saw a grey wagtail here at the HK Institute of Education today and I haven't seen them here before, so I wondered if it was on its way north. Cheers, Koren

The Avifauna of Hong Kong describes Grey Wagtail as a "common winter visitor and passage migrant, possibly with occasional breeding". There have been some summer records and one in 1994 suggests breeding. Some White Wagtails (leucopsis) stay and breed in Hong Kong in summer.
