Hello, I am a writer based in Michigan, USA, and am rewriting a story set in Hong Kong that was originally set in Michigan. One scene of the original story involves a couple standing on a dock near a small inland lake, observing a flock of purple martins feeding on insects overhead. Here's where I need help: As far as I know there aren't any purple martins in Hong Kong, so I am looking for a substitute. The replacement should be similar - an agile, swallow-type bird that feeds opportunistically on insects in the air. If, aesthetically speaking, you can suggest a bird that also had a spritely personality and a joyous song, so much the better. For a picture and other information, here is a link to the US Geological Survey webpage on the purple martin: http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/id/framlst/i6110id.html Thank you for your time, Jim
