I photographed this starling in Kowloon Park today. I thought it was a Chinese Starling but the color looked a little brown. Can someone please confirm? Neil. Olympus 7070 and Swarovski ATS80HD scope with 20-60x zoom iso 100,1/800th sec and spot metering. http://www.pbase.com/neilfif11/image/47535686

HiNeil Looks Likea dirty female Chinese Starling to me.They have bred in Kowloon park for a couple of years now, although you also need to watch out for Chestnut-tailed Starling, which also breeds there. Cheers Mike K
