灰尾鷸 Grey Tailed Tatler on Lamma

I photographed this wader this morning on the rocks at Sok Kwu Wan. There were a pair of them. It looks like a tatler still with breeding color. The legs were yellow/green. You are dead right Neil, This is a Grey-tailed Tattler - away from Deep Bay they often appear on rocks and look like redshanks with greny yellow legs. The pattern of the grey on the sides of the breast is also rather distinctive. Cheers Mike K
