Photographed on Lamma yesterday amongst the Black-Eared Kites. The tail looks very un-kite-like. What could it be? Neil 19th,September,2005 Lamma Island,HK Nikon D100 plus Nikon 300mm/f4 ED lens iso 400,1/800th sec, f6.3 (manual exposure) http://www.pbase.com/neilfif11/image/49512609

It's a kite, with its tail widespread.

i agree with issac, long tail and the white spot on the edge of its wings tell that it is a black-eared kite.
