I took this at MPNR the same day as the Buzzard (21/10/05). It does not seem to have a yellowish base to the lower mandible and I wondered whether it might be Dark-sided flycatcher? TIA Andrew

I just guess could it be a female Grey Bushchat. It showed the white supercilium and forehead, dark face and ear-covert, complete dark bill, upperpart with washed-out brown, uppertail-coverts close to chestnut while contrast to the mantle, white throat and vent and grayish to brownish of the breast and belly. If it is a Dark-sided Flycatcher, it must obviously show brown wing-bar, dark gray on the mantle, short bill and the flycatcher’s habit.

This is another image of the same bird - does this help at all? It definitely behaved like a flycatcher. TIA Andrew

Thanks very much George and Falcon. I went to the OBC Images site and it does look a good match. Andrew
